Arlo is launching its first wired floodlight camera

It’s $150, but you’ll need a subscription to unlock some features.

That allows the Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera to monitor and illuminate outdoor spaces 24/7 without interruption, unlike battery-powered security systems. In fact, the Wired Floodlight Camera shares many of the same features as the wireless Pro 3, including 2K HDR-supported video, a 160-degree field of view, color night vision, and an integrated siren to scare off intruders. Those features are free, but others — like 30-day cloud storage for recorded videos and creating custom alerts when people, animals, vehicles, or packages are detected — are locked behind various subscription tiers that start from $7.99 per month.
