Instead of giving players a formal release date, choosing on several occasions to just say Soon™, the developers at Team Asobi have simply decided to stealth launch the levels starting... tomorrow, October 17th. Though it’s frustrating to have the best game on the PS5 parceled out like this, it feels like Team Asobi has made the right choice. Just like my friend’s golden retriever at dinner time, I have to be slow fed new Astro Bot otherwise I’d gobble everything up in one bite then complain that there’s no more fun to be had... or develop a concerning case of bloat.
