Atari partners with B3 on multiple blockchain titles including Pong

Atari is partnering with B3 to bring several titles onto the blockchain for the first time, beginning with the game that started it all: Pong.

“Moving our classic titles onchain represents the next frontier for us because it’s not just about following a trend — it’s recognizing blockchain technology offers unprecedented opportunities for ownership and community participation that reinforces our vision for the future of gaming,” Drewitz said. By bringing Atari classics onchain, we’re inviting a new generation of creators to make these era-defining games open-source and remixable because we believe they’ll actually become better through community contributions. Imagine what can happen when thousands of creative minds build upon these foundational games, adding new dimensions while maintaining the core elements that made them so special.”
