Baldur's Gate 3 cross-platform mod support coming

Larian has confirmed Baldur's Gate 3 will be getting official mod support down the line.

"We have a system but it needs to be tested and still requires work," Douse explained, noting that the team wanted to avoid any player frustration from game updates breaking mods. According to WombatMedic, Larian plans to offer modding support for "things like classes, UI, customisation, spells, and certain assets and game mechanics", saying this is "no small task". Elsewhere in all things Larian, earlier this month the Baldur's Gate 3 team took the opportunity to address both the current state of the industry and the importance of player experience.
