(Bloomberg) -- Senator Ron Wyden on Friday accused the Treasury Department of misleading Congress about the level of access into sensitive payment systems the administration has granted to allies of billionaire Elon Musk. The White House said Thursday that Elez resigned from his post after the Wall Street Journal published a story that linked him to a social-media account that advocated for racism and eugenics. Musk posted a poll on X, the social media platform he owns, asking “Bring back @DOGE staffer who made inappropriate statements via a now deleted pseudonym?”
