Bethesda officially reveals Oblivion Remastered, available today | The nearly 20-year-old game has been remade for modern consoles and PCs.
It’s finally here after months of rumors
Tom Warren is a senior editor and author of Notepad, who has been covering all things Microsoft, PC, and tech for over 20 years. The remastered version of Oblivion has overhauled graphics for modern hardware, and includes the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansions. “We’ve modernized a lot, but it’s still the same incredible adventure and the same carefully crafted world,” says Tom Mustaine, Bethesda’s external projects and studio director, during a reveal stream.
