More than two decades on from the launch of Ubisoft's original game, we still don't know - but Beyond Good & Evil's 20th Anniversary Edition now demands that its succesor does arrive, and sooner rather than later. As a reminder, BG&E2 is set a generation before the original game, with Pey'j and a fresh group of human and animal hybrids living as space pirates aboard the starship Gada. In January 2023, Ubisoft told Eurogamer that "Beyond Good and Evil 2's development is under way and the team is hard at work to deliver on its ambitious promise."
