BioShock 4 has reportedly been internally delayed past 2027 following a restructuring at developer Cloud Chamber.

2K President David Ismailer offered a statement to Bloomberg about the matter, revealing that they are reducing the team give the game more development time. “While we’re excited about the foundational gameplay elements of the project, we’ve made the decision with studio leadership to rework certain aspects that are core to a BioShock game, and in doing so are reducing the size of the development team to focus on this work and give the game more time in development,” said Ismailer. Some have speculated that BioShock 4 ‘s decade plus of development will inevitably lead to a cancellation, but Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick noted he is confident that the game will release.
