BioWare veteran’s studio shuts down before releasing a game


The studio was developing a AAA sci-fi narrative game.

Humanoid Origin, the game studio founded by former BioWare general manager Casey Hudson, is shutting down operations. “Despite efforts to shield the studio from broader challenges in the industry, an unexpected shortfall of funding left us unable to sustain operations,” the post read. Then in 2020, he left BioWare for good saying it was time to, “make way for the next generation of studio leaders.”
