Bluesky Hits 25M Users As Exodus From X Continues


The social media platform has added over 10 million users since U.S. Election Day.

Bluesky, the upstart social media platform, hit the important milestone of 25 million users early Friday morning. Social media users have been ditching Elon Musk-owned X as the site is seemingly drowning in bots, extreme content, crypto scams, ads, pornography, racism, transphobia and misinformation. The site opened itself fully to the public in February this year and has hummed along until the back half of 2024, with the presidential election, and the ensuing toxicity on X, turbocharging sign-ups.
