Bluesky starts letting users pick their own moderation filters


You can use the tool to apply custom labels and hide certain posts.

“You can build all sorts of different moderation services and customize your experience to create the kind of community you want,” Bluesky CEO Jay Gruber tells The Verge in an upcoming episode of Decoder. Ozone is being open-sourced today, and Bluesky will introduce the ability to enable moderation tools later this week. Following its closed beta launch in 2023, Bluesky has gradually added new features, such as custom feeds and the ability to host servers, with more on the way.
