Buckingham Palace hits out after ‘AI used to write fake books with false claims about Charles’ cancer’

Palace criticises ‘intrusive, insensitive and inaccurate’ books that speculate on King’s illness

“Any such titles speculating about His Majesty’s diagnosis and treatment are intrusive, insensitive and filled with inaccuracies,” a spokesperson for Buckingham Palace told the Mail on Sunday. The online giant has since deleted several of the books, which were allegedly written by AI algorithms and appear alongside best-selling legitimate royal biographies on the site. An Amazon spokesman told the Mail that the company put in “significant time and resources” to ensure books being sold on its website followed its “content guidelines”.
