Cadillac teases ‘Opulent Velocity’ electric V-Series concept

Cadillac dropped a teaser for its latest concept, an all-electric V-Series luxury performance vehicle dubbed “Opulent Velocity.” That year, we saw the introduction of the 2004 Cadillac CTS-V, signaling the automaker’s intention to compete with other performance luxury sub-brands like BMW M and Mercedes AMG. The automaker has plans to release three more EVs in the coming years: the Escalade IQ, the midsized Vistiq, and the entry-level Optiq.
