Cadillac’s first performance EV is the Lyriq-V

V-Series is coming to Cadillac electric cars.

In an email to The Verge, Cadillac production communications representative Katie Minter wrote that the company will share more information on the features and specifications of Lyriq-V in early 2025. Although we barely know anything about the Lyriq-V, GM says that V-Series vehicles are AWD standard and have “instantaneous acceleration,” which is also a general benefit of EVs since they are known to provide instant torque. In March, Cadillac teased an all-electric V-Series concept vehicle called the “Opulent Velocity” to celebrate the subbrand’s 20th anniversary.
