Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is scheduled for release starting October 25 on the PC, consoles and Xbox Game Pass.

Announced today at the Call of Duty presentation after Microsoft’s Xbox Showcase in Los Angeles, Black Ops returns with an epic, immersive story for the single player campaign of normal length. Treyarch said the Black Ops 6 campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of mission styles with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity. Lawrence Madden, associate director of design at Treyarch, said in a press briefing that the team thought a lot about how to reward players, and it decided to return to the classic Prestige system for leveling up and leaderboards.
