Calls for Kanye West to be removed from X after 'antisemitic rampage' online
The Campaign Against Antisemitism has called for Elon Musk to remove Kanye West from X over a string of offensive tweets.
The move came after West made a number of antisemitic remarks including praising Nazi leader Adolf Hitler in a conversation with US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones that year. The rapper previously received an eight-month suspension from X, then known as Twitter, in October 2022, after a series of erratic tweets, which appeared to show a symbol combining a swastika and a Jewish star. In an episode of the The Download podcast hosted by Justin Laboy, released on Wednesday, West revealed he had been diagnosed with autism, having previously questioned a bipolar disorder diagnosis, and being urged to be reassessed by Censori.
