This pursuit has been my personal focus as an AI researcher for the last decade and I believe it has the potential to produce superintelligent systems that maintain human values, morals and interests at the core of every insight, assessment or decision. In fact, many social species have evolved naturally in this direction, developing the ability to make rapid decisions in large groups that greatly exceed the brainpower of individual members.
