Canon's tiny C50 cinema camera can shoot widescreen and vertical video simultaneously
Canon has announced the EOS C50, its smallest cinema camera yet designed to appeal to social media creators and filmmakers alike.
It has an RF mirrorless mount and all-new full-frame sensor that supports up to 7K 60p internal RAW recording and 32MP photo capture, making it a do-it-all camera for working pros. Since it's part of Canon's Cinema lineup, the C50 offers pro features like two full-size XLR audio inputs (via an optional top handle), a zoom rocker, waveform/peaking displays, C-Log3 support and a dedicated start-stop button. It also comes with Canon's excellent Dual Pixel autofocus system and AI subject tracking that detects the eyes, face, head and body of people or animals.
