Cash App says this partnership will give “next gen consumers more choice” and the company specifically called out the gaming space. Cash App users will be able to pull money from a pre-existing balance or via a linked debit card to pay for stuff on Google Play. Also, Android developers who distribute apps on the Google Play store can already use an array of third-party payment systems in Europe, to comply with the DMA.
