Washington — The Computer & Communications Industry Association, together with fellow trade organization NetChoice, has filed an amicus brief with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to support Apple’s appeal of the district court’s decision in Epic Games v. Apple. The brief focuses on the First Amendment implications of the injunctive relief, which would force Apple to display links and descriptions for In-App Purchases in a particular manner. CCIA members employ more than 1.6 million workers, invest more than $100 billion in research and development, and contribute trillions of dollars in productivity to the global economy.
