Character.AI is adding a social feed to its app
The social feed lets users share images, videos as well as their chatbots with other users. Users can also share snippets of their chats with characters, post AI-generated images based on their chats with a character, or even have their characters debate topics on a live stream.
The latest to jump on that bandwagon is Character.AI, which said on Monday that it is adding a social feed to its mobile apps that allow users to create AI characters and chat with them. You can come to Feed for a lean-back experience and watch content from our amazing creators – but you can also take the story forward or create a new epic adventure,” said Karandeep Singh, Character.AI’s CEO, in a statement. Character.AI isn’t the first company of its kind to dip its toes in the social media ocean: Video generation app Pika in July launched an invite-only app that lets users create and post videos using AI tools.
