Comcast is spinning out Rotten Tomatoes, Fandango and some cable networks into a separate company. The new business will also be home to the likes of MSNBC and SYFY.

In its press release, Comcast calls the spin-off company "SpinCo," which is a placeholder and surely won't be the business' actual name. The UK government is expected to launch a parliamentary inquiry into the roll of social media in summer riots, particularly around the use of generative AI.
