Controversy after Polish radio station replaces human presenters with AI
This is "a dangerous precedent...for the entire industry", says one of the former presenters who has lost his job.
One character is called Jakub “Kuba” Zieliński (pictured above), a “22-year-old studying acoustic engineering, looking for the latest news in the field of sound production and new technological solutions”. Another is Emilia “Emi” Nowak (pictured below), a “20-year-old journalism student and pop culture expert, passionately following the latest trends in the world of cinema, music and fashion”. One of them, Mateusz Demski, who had hosted a show on the channel previously, launched a petition drawing attention to the fact that around a dozen people had lost their jobs, some of whom had worked there for almost a decade.
