Cosmic Glitch: Scientists Discover an Anomaly in the Universe's Gravity

Scientists have found evidence that Einstein's general theory of relativity doesn't quite work in the distant universe.

Einstein's theory of general relativity offers a strikingly accurate depiction of how gravity interacts with the fabric of space-time in the nearby universe. However, when they tweaked Einstein's theory to account for a 1% gravity deficit, their model aligned more closely with the observational data, Wen told BI over email.
