Debian 12.7 Released With Many Security Updates


Debian 12.7 is out today as the latest stable release update for the Debian Bookworm series.

As usual it's an assortment of dozens of bug and security fixes to find with today's Debian 12.7 release. There is updated AMD CPU microcode in the name of security fixes, a remote code execution vulnerability for Calibre, potential code execution issues in dcm2nix, and then the mix of other minor fixes from taking care of possible buffer overflow issues to other problems. Downloads along with the full list of Debian 12.7 package changes can be found via the release announcement on Debian.org.
