International interest in American higher education has plummeted to levels not seen since the COVID-19 pandemic, according to new data tracking prospective student behavior online. Studyportals, which operates a global directory of degree programs, reports that clicks on American university courses have reached their lowest point since the early pandemic period.Weekly page views of US university courses halved between January 5th and the end of April. India, which supplies nearly a third of America's international students, showed the steepest decline at 40%.
