Does the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 support the S Pen?
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 boasts several improvements over the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but it does not retain S Pen support.
The main reason was to ensure the phone’s screen could remain ultra-thin, which means not including an active layer to support S Pen input. It’s an unfortunate trade-off, but given the either-or scenario, most users would probably take the thinner design, better performance, improved battery, and larger unobstructed screen experience over having an S Pen. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 sacrificed the inclusion of S Pen support in favor of a sleeker, slimmer design for both the screen and the phone overall, as well as enhanced performance and battery life.
