EV charging startup Electra secures $330 million

Paris-based startup Electra just raised a a $330 million (€304 million) Series B round. The company is building an EV charging network.

What makes Electra stand out from other EV charging networks is that it focuses exclusively on fast-charging stations. And as a reminder, Electra also previously raised money from EIP in Switzerland, RATP Capital Innovation, CDC’s Banque des Territoires, Ademe Investissement, Eiffel Investment Group, RGreen Invest, Frst, Allianz, Groupe Chopard and Altarea. Usually, startups with huge capital requirements try to secure a credit line with a financial partner to kickstart the projects.
