EV with unlimited range tested, battery power boosts without charging
The demonstration consisted a Renault Twizy 80 model fitted with an E-Cat power generation system. The test showcased EV's energy density increased from 62% to 83% following a continuous six-hour run.
After 2 hours and 20 minutes, the unmodified car stopped moving, due to its battery being fully depleted after covering a distance of 45 miles. The modified car covered the distance of 124 miles and energy density of its battery increased to 83%, which was 33 per cent higher than when the test began. Our goal was to show that E-Cat technology is a practical source of energy that can be useful to the world,” said Andrea Rossi, CEO of Leonardo Corporation.
