Every PS5 game with ray tracing support in 2025
Ray tracing in PS5 games can make lighting, shadows and reflections look more realistic, but not every game supports it
It allows developers to incorporate real-time lighting, reflections, and shadows into games that are closer to what we’d expect to see in real life, making virtual worlds resemble all the more convincing. Those that do support the feature rarely run at 60fps as a result, which means you can usually expect a drop in resolution and frame rate to 30fps if you want to enjoy the extra graphical fidelity ray tracing can provide. Developers no longer have to spend hours "baking" lighting or reflections into a scene, as ray tracing offers a more dynamic and realistic solution.
