768kbps DSL is so slow that modern sites break and timeout, assuming that the connection must have dropped or the server unavailable because it can't load content at expected pace. Even in an area where I am near a larger city, I see the effects of these things as United Healthcare and my regional hospital chain got into a fight over reimbursement rates and I found myself without insurance coverage for local doctors and having to drive 45-60 minutes to be seen for a few months. I mean they are still picking technological winners (telecom companies) and losers (American public).Man I hate the constant attempt to claim they're being neutral when they're favoring corporate interests at the cost of the people.
