Former Huami employees launch SATELLAI, a satellite pet tracker, at CES 2025


With the smart pet wearable market estimated at $1.72 million in 2024, a new startup in the pet tech space is entering the scene with a dog tracker and At CES 2025, SATELLAI presented its satellite pet tracker and smart collar, which include health monitoring, activity tracking, and even an AI coach.

The smart collar is equipped with seven different sensors that monitor the pet’s health, including breath and heart rate, according to the company. For example, the tracker uses a Qualcomm 9205S modem, letting it to connect directly with satellite tracking without needing a terrestrial signal like LTE. It also offers features like virtual fencing and different types of correctional feedback to minimize barking or prevent dogs from walking up to specific areas, like a swimming pool or thorny rose bushes.
