Fort Worth's tallest building sells for $12.3M, bought for $137.5M in 2021


The tallest building in Fort Worth, Texas, has been bought by a bank for $12.3 million, three years after it sold $137.5 million. Burnett Plaza has 40 stories and is 567 feet tall.

As well as being the tallest in Fort Worth, Burnett Plaza is also considered the largest, with over one million square feet of commercial office and retail space, according to its website. The Dallas Business Journal reports that contractors filed 10 mechanic’s liens totaling more than $1.6 million against Opal, alleging unpaid renovation work at the site. Pinnacle also bought back a four-building Centerpoint office park in Arlington from the firm at the auction for $30 million, according to the Dallas Business Journal.
