Fortnite back on US Apple app store after ban lifted

The development is seen as a win for Epic Games, that has been locked in a legal battle with Apple.

The move triggered a legal battle brought by Fortnite developer Epic Games, which called the fee unfair and accused Apple of running the app store as a monopoly. Fortnite became unavailable last week on app stores around the world, after an update was apparently being blocked by Apple. Google, which also removed Fortnite from its app store in 2020 over its payment rules, lifted its ban on downloads last year.
