FreeBSD 13.4 Released With Many Software Updates & Driver Improvements


The FreeBSD camp today released FreeBSD 13.4 as the newest point release to the FreeBSD 13 stable series for those that haven't yet migrated to the FreeBSD 14 series.

There is a ton of changes to find with FreeBSD 13.4 that have accumulated over the past number of months. There are also many program updates including LLVM Clang 18.1.5, SQLite 3.46, OpenSSH 9.7p1, libarchive 3.7.4, and others. Also on the hardware side is AMD Ryzen 7040 series "Phoenix" support added to the AMDSMN and AMDTEMP drivers.
