Frink


A practical calculating tool, unit conversion utility, and programming language designed to make physical calculations simple. It tracks units of measure (feet, meters, kilograms, watts, etc.) through all calculations, and helps ensure that answers are correct.

toColorChannels[]Turns the bits of the image into a array of (probably 4) ComplexArray2D objects (the class may change to be real values only) which correspond to the red, green, blue, and alpha channels. These are referenced using the capitalized name (lower case brings up element properties for now... this will all be addressed when I add object-oriented behavior to Frink) or the 3-letter ISO code (which is an X followed by the chemical symbol): Alan's Unsolicited Advice: Anytime you're involved with a project where you hear people saying "we want to use 'X' technology" before they've even thought about representing the problem they're trying to solve, look up for the cloud of doom, which floats nigh.
