As the founding software engineer at FurtherAI, you'll play a pivotal role in building the core product while also spearheading efforts to ensure scalability, optimize performance, and continuously improve the product to meet evolving needs and challenges. This is an in-person role based in San Francisco, CA. Remote exception (within USA) can be given for exceptional candidates. Kind of challenges we work on LLMs are great at getting 80% of the work done but are notoriously difficult to go from 80% → 100%. We incorporate various technical and product strategies to tame these nondeterministic creatures. Tech challenges Building agents that can navigate websites and accurately fill forms Extracting data accurately from any kind of document Building a rule engine that can incorporate any rule in plain English Product challenges Providing deterministic guarantees while using non-deterministic models Using human help to validate and ask questions to clarify Qualifications 1+ years of experience in building products in the 0 to 1 stage Experience building high-performance backend systems in Python Passionate about web automation, web scraping, LLMs + Vision models Ability to communicate well, both in person and on paper Passion for iterating fast and building things.
