Richard Hughes of Red Hat announced the availability today of Fwupd 2.0.15 as the latest increment to this open-source firmware updating solution built around the Linux Vendor Firmware Service (LVFS). Fwupd 2.0.15 adds support for child devices to use the parent name as a prefix plus has a number of bug fixes compared to prior Fwupd releases. The FreeBSD build is working again as one of the fixes found in this update.
