GAME won't have in-store Switch 2 pre-orders

You won't be able to pre-order a Switch in-store at GAME.

The beleagured brand, once a familiar sight on the high street, will instead have a "small allocation" of consoles available to pre-order via the company's website. Following various cuts and changes to GAME's offering made over the past two years by owner Frasers Group, the brand now largely exists as a concession area in other stores such as Sports Direct. The decision has been made to shut GAME's head office and main warehouse in Basingstoke, where the brand has been headquartered for more than two decades, with the loss of further jobs expected.
