Garmin dilemma: Buy the Epix Gen 2 for an all-time low $500 off or shell out for the Fenix 8?

The Garmin Epix Gen 2 has plummeted to $399 off, its lowest price ever, as Garmin clears out stock to focus on the Fenix 8.

Unlike other "old" watches, the Epix should last you for years, with over two weeks of battery life, the best possible GPS accuracy, strong ruggedness, and in-depth training tools for both mainstream and niche sport activities. That said, some people would rather pay full price for the Fenix 8, which also lasts 16 days but an extra 10 hours of multi-band GPS. Channeling his love of running, he established himself as an expert on fitness watches, testing and reviewing models from Garmin, Fitbit, Samsung, Apple, COROS, Polar, Amazfit, Suunto, and more.
