However, a bricked cycling computer may mean that a user can't find their way home or has to go much slower and use a phone with Google or Apple Maps, stopping to check it regularly. Our reader reports getting his watch up and running again by doing a factory reset, which effectively erased all his data, and to add insult to injury he's unable to reconnect to Garmin Connect yet.
