While there are many great apps for Mastodon, they are built around the core experience of Mastodon as a social network. So, it’s easy for great content to pass you by, in your timeline, as you read posts, reply to people, favorite posts, etc.
It presents an interface, separate from the social network, to give you the time and space to read the news and links you care about. Follow accounts (e.g.[email protected]) and see all the links they’ve posted. Read the links in Safari View Controller, with secure, private access to your passwords, and extensions.
