Gemini Nano is coming to the Pixel 8 after all, along with two new AI features
After initially saying that the Pixel 8 couldn't handle Gemini, Google appears to have changed its mind.
Maria Diaz/ZDNETWhen Google first announced Gemini Nano, the company made its AI model designed for mobile devices a big selling point for the Pixel 8 Pro. Unfortunately, this means Gemini Nano will only be available to Pixel 8 users with Android developer accounts (which requires signing up and paying a one-time $25 registration fee). Furthermore, Samsung managed to get Gemini Nano on the Galaxy S24 series, the entry model of which has 8GB of RAM, just like the Pixel 8.
