German law enforcement seized 47 cryptocurrency exchange services "that facilitated illegal money laundering activities for cybercriminals," according to BleepingComputer, "including ransomware gangs. This created a low-risk environment for cybercriminals to launder their proceeds without fearing prosecution or being tracked.
