GlobalFoundries, United Microelectronics Weighing Merger, Nikkei Says


US chipmaker GlobalFoundries Inc. is exploring a merger with Taiwan’s second-largest semiconductor manufacturer United Microelectronics Corp., Nikkei Asia reported on Monday.
