Google app's experimental bottom search bar on Android is slowly taking shape


The refreshed design first appeared in 2021. Guess third time's the charm?

The updated design introduces a default blue tint, replacing the Dynamic Color, to enhance visual appeal and modernize the app's appearance. Google's Android app loves to shake things up, especially with its interface, and it's back at it with the idea of putting the search bar at the bottom. In the updated design, Google swaps out the Dynamic Color for a default blue tint, which really pops against the Search results page.
