Google CEO says a quarter of the company’s code is already AI generated. Sundar Pichai made the announcement during an earnings call.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai just revealed that AI now generates more than a quarter of new code for its products, according to a company earnings call transcribed by Ars Technica. What regulations are put in place and how forcefully those rules are enforced will have wide ranging impacts on consumer privacy, intellectual property, the media industry and national security. Midnight Blizzard, the same threat actor behind the SolarWinds attacks, has recently sent out thousands of spear-phishing emails to collect information, according to Microsoft.
