Google Gemini gives Gmail users a quick way to add events in Calendar

Gemini helps users waste no time when important events are discussed.

Google is starting to roll out a QoL (quality of life) update for Gmail's Gemini integration that makes important information easier to handle. Google notes a few things of importance: the feature is only available for Gmail on the web (for English users) and using the AI to add an event to Calendar "will not include guests." Bringing a side panel with Gemini to the Calendar app on the web is part of Google's mission as stated during its initial Labs test last year.
