Google is bringing Gemini to Chrome so it can answer questions about your open tabs

Google's Chrome browser is the latest major product from the company to get its own built-in Gemini features.

While Gemini can already distill information from websites, having the assistant baked into Chrome allows it to provide insights and answer questions about your open tabs without ever having to move to a different window or application. To start, Gemini will only be able to answer queries about a single open tab, but the company plans to add multi-tab capabilities in a future update. The company also teased a future update that will allow Gemini to actually scroll through web pages on your behalf, like asking it to jump to a specific step in a recipe.
