The new foldables from Samsung and Google cater to different users - here's which one suits you best.

Kerry Wan/ZDNET The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the first book-style foldable to sport an IP68 rating, which means it is truly resistant against minute dust particles. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rated IP48 for dust and water resistance, so it is protected against solid particles bigger than 1 millimeter. In fact, it is more comfortable to hold and use than big flagship phones like the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung's own Galaxy S25 Ultra.
